Pool and Spa inspections
Final Analysis provides provides pool
inspections
for real estate transactions
We know pools! This is a value added feature of our inspections that is not
included by most Home Inspection company's in Hampton Roads. In fact most
inspection companies are not qualified to perform pool inspection and disclaim
  it from their reports.
You may just want to know what kind of pool you have, how does it all work, is
there any major issues or expenses on the horizon.
Swimming pools and equipment are one of the most expensive components on the
property. If you are concerned about the condition, safety and potential
repair cost you may consider a comprehensive pool inspection.
Pools take a beating because of the outdoor environment, UV exposure, wear and
  tear and deferred maintenance. We
don't do pool repairs, so you can count on a pure and unbiased inspection of
  the pool.

     What
do we inspect and report on?
Pool container/liner interior finish materials and
        condition   Frequently
asked questions about Pool and Spa Inspections
  Do I need a pool
  inspection?
    Just like a home
inspection, a pool inspection is up to the discretion of the buyer. A
swimming pool can represent significant repair cost and safety risk which is
better to learn about during the purchase of a home.

Some of our clients just want to know the general condition of the pool and
it's systems and how it all works.

  Should I get a pool
  contractor to inspect my pool?
    You can. Some pool
contractors provide inspections but they typically

    Most contractors only
inspect the circulation systems, filtration and the pool container.
    Contractors don't
inspect barrier safety, electrical systems and bonding.
    Pool contractors are
experts in new pool installations and maintenance, particularly the types
they sell, whereas our inspectors are trained in all the systems of all
types of pools from any era.

  Is a pool inspection
required by law or the banks during a home purchase?

NO. not in Virginia. A pool is not part of the Real Property and doesn't
have much influence on the property value. There are no state mandated
inspections required when transferi8ng property ownership.

Some homeowners insurance companies want to know pool conditions due to the
higher potential for liability and potential repair cost.

  Do you do leak
  detection

NO. Pool inspection are visual inspection of the pool systems and testing of
equipment only. Leak detection is a fairly exhaustive process which is
beyond the scope of a standard inspection.

     If
during the inspection we detect or see evidence of a leak we will defer to a
leak detection company who specializes in these type of diagnosis and
    repair..
